The Maltese archipelago consists of three inhabited islands located in the middle of the Mediterranean, Malta, Gozo and Comino.
The terrain is low and rocky coastline with cliffs.
Malta is 93 km to the south of Sicily and 288 km from northern Africa.
It is characterized by the narrow cobbled streets of their villages, cathedrals and baroque palaces. The natural environment of the islands have the structures built by the oldest man around the world, so it has been aptly described as an open-air museum.
